Light Sensitivity: Kubaz suffer a penalty on attack rolls, skill checks, and ability checks made when not wearing protective eye goggles. The penalty is -4 in normal light and -2 in dim light. When exposed to intense light without goggles, the Kubaz is blinded for 2D6 hours

Dennurek, the Kubaz Scoundrel
Dennurek was born on the planet of Kubindi to his mother and father Skahtul and Kadjek. Skahtul was a great artist and teacher while his father was a public speaker. The Kubaz believed in great decorum, culture, and tradition of family. Dennurek grew up surrounded by his family and learned many skills in his time under their tutelage. He excelled in intelligence, wisdom, and a particular affinity for dexterity. While growing up Dennurek learned from other artists as well as his mother how to create art, selling, trading, and working with others to gain and sell the art. From his father he dabbled with the politics of speaking with others, but found the straight-forward approach wasn’t his forte and gained expertise in disguise, dodging, sleight of hand, and avoiding situations where he could be caught. If not, a blaster pistol is his preferred weapon or knife in close combat. Not always the most rule-abiding fellow, Dennurek used his skills for what he wanted – and not always on the right side of Kubindi law.
After living through his childhood and beginning education in economics, Dennurek at age twenty was compelled to study further out in the galaxy away from the Outer Rim Territories. The Kubaz do not have interstellar travel at this time, so Dennurek became a stowaway on a visiting starship. Once he was found out, he was deposited on their current planet to fend for himself. From there Dennurek relied on his knowledge of economics and trade to conduct business transactions both legally and illicitly for money and continuing transportation to other planets exploring the galaxy. He prefers his day job to be an “economics tutor” but often will go to cantinas and art galleries to trade and admire works. Since the Kubaz have a diet primarily consisting of insects, he has over the years kept insect snacks on his person to eat if he ever meets an insectoid being, so as to find himself distracted and not trying to eat them, otherwise his previous negotiations would have been disastrous.
