Deflect (Defense +1): A Jedi learns to deflect blaster bolts and other projectiles with her lightsaber, thereby providing a dodge bonus to Defense against such attacks. You must be carrying an activated lightsaber to use this special ability. Deflecting an attack is a reaction that costs the Jedi a move action in her next round. The Jedi must indicate that she is using deflect (defense) when an opponent declares an attack against her but before any attack rolls are made. When used in this fashion, the Jedi gains the dodge bonus against all ranged attacks directed at her in the round. Each time a Jedi gains Deflect (defense), it provides a +1 Dodge bonus to defense when she uses her lightsaber to block ranged attacks.
Deflect (Attack -4): A Jedi learns to deflect blaster blots with her lightsaber, redirecting the attack toward a target within one range increment of the Jedi's position (The type of blaster determines the range). You must be carrying an activated lightsaber. Deflecting and redirecting an attack is a reaction that costs the Jedi a move action in her next round. The Jedi must indicate that she is using deflect (attack) when an opponent declares an attack against her but before any attack rolls are made. Deflect (defense) and deflect (attack) can be used together in the same round (though the Jedi can decide not to use the defense if she wants a better chance at redirecting the incoming attack). The Jedi can deflect and redirect a number of attacks equal to one-half her Jedi level, rounded up (currently JG-> 4 / 2 = 2). The redirected attack must miss the Jedi by 5 or less; any attack that hits the Jedi or misses by 6 can't be redirected. (Currently must hit between 11-15). If the Jedi can redirect the attack, the Jedi immediately rolls an attack using her lightsaber attack bonus and applying a -4 penalty, if this roll is high enough to hit the target, the redirected attack deals damage to the target (Blaster attack damage).
Ambidexterity: You ignore all penalties for using an off hand. You are neither left-handed nor right-handed. With two weapons, your primary hand is a -6 bonus, your off hand is a -6 bonus to attack. So currently at level 4, you have a +0 to attack if you use two weapons.
Power Attack: On your action, before making attack rolls for a round, you may choose to subtract a number from all melee attack rolls and add the same number to all melee damage rolls. This number cannot exceed your base attack bonus (4). The penalty on attacks and bonus on damage applies until your next action.

Character Description:
Alyaza looks like any other Twi'lek female, the race that is considered to be the second sexiest alien race. There is a dark and angry glint in her eyes though that keeps many away from her. She is strongly built from years of hard training. She wraps her hands an arms in bandages to hide years of training scars. Alyaza is not a very approachable Twi'lek unlike most members of that race. She has a cold demeanor, but has a passionate and compassionate side that she shares with those that earn her trust. She has a secret love for the beauty of nature and of music. Character Background:
My father owned a weapons forge and supplied Jedi and army forces with the best weapons on my home planet. He taught me how to use the weapons to protect myself and also the shop while he was away gathering crystals and other materials. My mother had passed away shortly after I was born when sickness fell upon my village. It was always just me and my father.
Then one day a powerful and corrupt Jedi came into our shop. He commissioned my father to make a lightsaber powerful enough for a strong sith lord. My father was suspicious of this, but he made it non the less. It was the greatest and most powerful weapon he had ever made. A few months later the Jedi returned with some of his comrades to claim the weapon. He was pleased with it immensely, and turned to leave without paying for it. My father tried to stop him, but the Jedi used dark force and struck my father down.
The Jedi attempted to do away with me as well, as to leave no witnesses to his crime, but at that moment I realized that I was able to use the force. I protected myself with the force and reached for a lightsaber to defend myself with. Using the training that my father had taught me, I was able to protect myself until I was able to run. The Jedi eventually let me escape believing that a small Twi’lek child would not be a threat to him.
That day a hatred for the Jedi order filled my soul. How could the masters have let such a corrupt and evil being remain within their ranks? After the death of my father I wandered around the wilderness, alone and with nothing in my possession but the lightsaber that I had grabbed in self defense. I eventually came upon a small farming village where an elderly couple took me in. I worked on their farm repairing machinery and tools for a few years until I had saved up enough to leave the planet and approach the Jedi Council.
My initial goal was to tell the Jedi counsel about the atrocity that happened to my father. When I arrived though, they would not here my case as I was a small child with no power, and the Jedi that I was accusing was a popular and influential member of the council. They did not believe my story, and as I had no proof my case was dismissed.
I knew that the only way that I would be able to get revenge was if I became more powerful. One of the councilors noticed the power of the force within me though, and urged me to become a Jedi. It would be a shame for me to not use those powers. So I joined the Jedi Academy to become a guardian. I vowed to become the strongest Jedi and to eradicate the corrupt powers that had taken over the council and the Jedi order as a whole.
I graduated from the Academy with ease and then began my career as a Jedi guardian. It has been my goal to learn all there is about the force, including dark force, and to become a strong fighter so that one day I can kill the man who slaughtered my father.
