Hey everyone! Someone finally managed to program the Whisper function for the updated forums. So, we'll be moving from using the spoilers to moving the whispers
This will allow only me and the person I'm talking to to use this information. It appears at this time, however, that if you're using a mobile device or the proboards app, that the whispers wont appear at all.
As such, if anyone would prefer me to also send them a text or other notification that I've sent them hidden information, please due so by messaging me through this site.
A note on how to use the whispers:
The Shhhh button in the reply window is the whisper button. You guys can use it too if you wanted to send me a blurb in your reply that only the GM can see, or perhaps you're plotting to outwit the GM, and want to have a private conversation between each of you. In any case, when you use the whispers, you have to add in people's USER names, not character names. If you're unsure what their user name is, go the the member section and it should be there. Then, using their user name AND INCLUDING YOURS, you can create the whisper. If you do not include your user name in addition to the person (or people) you want to talk to, you yourself wont be able to see what you just posted within the whisper.
Please also note, you'll need to be in the BBCode section of the reply window to see the coding for the whisper appear, and know where you need to type in order for the whisper to work. If you use the preview side, it wont pop up for you to type in. Directly below is an example of a whisper, it should be housed in a red box. PLEASE let me know if any EoS member can't see it!
